Sydney / Eora

Learn more
About Studio STH
Studio STH is an Australian architecture and interior design practice dedicated to creating environments that enhance lives and strengthen communities.

For nearly five decades, we have delivered forward-thinking, people-centred architecture. While healthcare remains at the heart of our work, our expertise extends to education, research, science, aged care, and institutional projects.

We design at all scales, from local community hubs to complex international healthcare facilities, ensuring every project is purposeful, efficient, and impactful.

The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Senior Architect / Senior Project Leader to join our Sydney studio.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of complex healthcare projects, working alongside a highly experienced team with a strong reputation in the health sector. You'll lead projects through multiple phases, mentor emerging team members, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the Sydney studio.

We're seeking someone who enjoys balancing design, technical delivery, consultant coordination and client engagement, and who is passionate about creating environments that positively impact patient, staff and community outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the delivery of healthcare projects with a Principal from design through to completion
  • Managing project programs, deliverables and client expectations
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams, with a particular focus on building services integration
  • Leading Revit documentation and technical delivery
  • Managing project quality, compliance and risk
  • Applying relevant codes, standards and healthcare planning requirements
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement, workshops and presentations
  • Mentoring and developing architects and graduates within the studio
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 8-10+ years' post-graduate architectural experience
  • Has demonstrated experience delivering healthcare projects
  • Has strong services coordination experience and a sound understanding of building systems integration
  • Is highly proficient in Revit and technical documentation
  • Has experience leading project teams and coordinating services
  • Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Is organised, proactive and solutions-focused
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality design outcomes within complex project environments

Registration as an Architect is highly regarded but not essential.

Why Studio STH
You'll be joining a collaborative Sydney studio with a strong reputation in healthcare design and a genuine focus on teamwork, quality and professional growth. Working on complex, people-focused projects, you'll have the opportunity to lead project delivery, collaborate with experienced colleagues and consultants, and help shape environments that support better outcomes for patients, staff and communities.

With a healthy project pipeline and opportunities to take ownership of meaningful work, this role offers both challenge and long-term career growth.

We are always looking for talented, passionate individuals to join our team. While no positions are currently available, we welcome expressions of interest from those who share our vision for thoughtful, people-first design. You can send us your resume to [email protected] and we’ll consider you for any future vacancies. Please also include a short cover letter telling us about yourself, your relevant experience and why you would like to work with us.

At Studio STH we really value the spontaneous collaboration, support and exchange of ideas that happens when we are together in-person. Although we continue to support a balance of home and in-studio working, we are not able to consider applicants seeking 100% remote work.

We prefer to engage with candidates directly but we do occasionally use agencies for some of our recruitment needs. If you are from an agency and would like to work with us, feel free to send an introductory email to the address above. However we ask that you don’t send us unsolicited resumes.
