Angliss Community Rehabilitation Centre, Ferntree Gully, VIC
The Angliss Hospital Ambulatory Rehabilitation Centre was developed with Federal funding predominantly to provide out-patient rehabilitation services for the Angliss Hospital catchment area. The facility also supports the rehabilitation service needs of the hospital’s sub-acute population.
The accommodation provided incorporates consulting space, treatment rooms, group rooms, a gymnasium, with a number of other allied health support functions. An external mobility garden is linked to the larger of the group rooms.
The facility has a predominantly northern aspect and the occupants have indicated particular support for the large light filled spaces. Support services include teaching and office accommodation for clinicians and staff.
