Kingston Production Kitchen, Victoria

The recently completed Kingston CPK is to cater to the food requirements of 33% of the Melbourne Metropolitan Public Hospital (MMPH) System, including the Kingston Aged Care Redevelopment. It is required to produce two million meals per annum to meet the current demand, with the capacity to accommodate a 20% growth over the next 20 years. It will provide 50% of all Endd User Facility meals divided as follows:
-         60% Short Shelf Life (SSL) food portions with a 5 day life; and
-         40% Extended Shelf Life (ESL) food portions with a 28 day life.
The design of the kitchen uses Kingspan cladding extensively for the aesthetics, ease of construction, and insulation properties.
