The Newcastle Strategy

The Relocation of Royal Newcastle Hospital to the John Hunter Hospital site and creation of an Ambulatory Care Centre, including Inpatient accommodation, Cardiovascular Unit, 100 place Day Medical/Procedural Unit, Operating Suite and collocated Endoscopy/ Day Surgery. The Strategy also involved redevelopment at the Belmont Hospital with specific areas including: rehabilitation & assessment unit, critical care unit, inpatient unit accommodation and day surgery/procedures unit. It also included the Newcastle Polyclinic and John Hunter Hospital Carpark. We also did schematic design only for the Mater Womens Hospital at Newcastle. In association with Daryl Jackson Architects
