Silver Thomas Hanley undertook the concept design, detailed design, and documentation supervision for a new greenfield’s 225 bed major metropolitan hospital, as part of the successful design and construct for tender consortium. Specialities include obstetric unit and paediatric unit with a dedicated ambulatory care unit, medical/surgical inpatient units, acute mental health unit, 18 beds critical care unit, emergency department, operating suite, including day surgery unit and endoscopy unit and community health unit and community mental health.
Stage 1 of Redevelopment includes  Mater Plan, additional 32 beds, 2 new ORs and Redevelopment of CSSD. Stage 2 and 3 include redevelopment of OPD, allied health, ED and clinical and non-clinical support services plus an additional 64 beds and new rental dialysis and chemotherapy units.
