Casey Hospital, Berwick, Victoria

Casey Hospital was the first health project in Australia built and operated under a PPP policy.  As part of the Progress Heath consortium, Silver Thomas Hanley was successful in being awarded the new Greenfield 206 bed community hospital, procured under a “Partnerships Victoria” programme.
It was completed on time and within budget in 2005 and included Acute inpatient units, Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Acute Mental Health, Intensive Care, Rehabilitation, Emergency, Operating Suite (8 room), Endoscopy/Day Surgery, Diagnostic Medical Imaging and Renal Dialysis Unit.
