Auburn Hospital, Sydney

The Auburn Hospital, in the mid western suburbs of Sydney, is a new facility that completely replaced the existing hospital on the same site. The new Hospital has 184 beds and includes:

-          80 Bed Medical Inpatient and Close Observation Unit
-          23 Hour Surgical Inpatient Unit
-          Maternal & Newborn Care Unit
-          Non Acute Care Inpatient Unit
-          Emergency department
-          Operating Suite & Ambulatory Procedures Centre    
This project was won under a Design and Construct consortium, with Multiplex and Hassell Architects. Completed 2009.
