Epping Medical and Specialist Centre

The Epping Medical and Specialist Centre is a new facility on a greenfield site. It has been designed to be a visible landmark building, as well as expressing the entry point into a larger medically orientated precinct expected to include a private hospital and pharmaceutical laboratories. This project comprises more that 12,000m2 of medical suites and specialized tenants such as Radiation Oncology, Day Procedures and Medical Imaging and has been designed with 10,000m2 of undercover parking. The base building is now completed with tenancies within the building being occupied. As the site allocated to this Centre is on the corner of a major intersection the opportunity to visually open up the whole corner has been taken to introduce architectural features appropriate to a modern medical centre. Metallic Alucobond used in conjunction with tinted glazing is being used along the main façade while a painted concrete panel system will be main construction method in the less visible areas.
