St John of God Hospital, Ballarat Radiotherapy Services Redevelopment. Victoria

This project consisted of a new Radiotherapy service on St John of God Campus and a new 8 place chemotherapy unit at Ballarat Base Hospital, jointly managed by Austin Hospital Radiation Oncology Service. Baileys Mansion which was heritage listed formed part of the development, and was restored internally to create a new reception, waiting and administration areas. The new Radiotherapy Bunker was built adjacent to the Mansion, with a juxtaposition of modern architecture relating to the surrounding hospital environs.It also included an elevated link that connected SJOG to the public Ballarat Base Hospital across the road.
