Sydney Office
The Silver Thomas Hanley Pty Ltd Sydney office was formed in
February 1998 when commissioned to redevelop the Royal Prince
Alfred Hospital
in Camperdown in association with Daryl Jackson Pty Ltd. Following the
success of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) redevelopment, the Sydney
office was consolidated to provide a specialist health architecture firm for
NSW projects.
The scale of the projects that the Sydney team has managed
since RPAH include the $360million Newcastle
Strategy that included the redevelopment of three of the major hospital sites
in the NSW Hunter Region, the $145 Million redevelopment of the Auburn
Hospital, and the $265million Orange PPP
Redevelopment. The office has also delivered on two Cyclotron facilities, one
at the RPAH Campus and the second at the recently completed Macquarie
University Hospital.
Our Sydney team has also delivered
numerous specialist fitout projects.
The STH Sydney team are also a very healthy and sporting
bunch of people. From Indoor soccer(futsal) back in the earlier days, to the
recent running of the 2009 City to Surf, the team strives to build and maintain
the ‘family’ atmosphere developed at the inception of the Sydney
office. Mountain bike expeditions from Woodford to Glenbrook in Sydney’s
Blue Mountains National
Park are becoming bi-annual events popular
amongst the staff to experience each others life experiences outside the work
environment.
