Brisbane Office

We have an established office in Brisbane, in a joint firm called PDT-STH. PDT-STH is a specialist health architecture and planning company. We have drawn upon the collective expertise of our associated firms, PDT Architects and Silver Thomas Hanley, offering a Brisbane-based multidisciplinary team with leading expertise across health planning, architecture, interior design and landscape architecture. Our team has demonstrated its capacity to achieve best practice standards and design excellence across its diverse disciplines in the delivery of many Australian and overseas hospitals.

PDT Architects and Silver Thomas Hanley have a combined resource of over 150 staff in their Brisbane. Townsville and Melbourne offices. From this large pool of professionals, PDT-STH is able to assemble flexible project teams to services its various health projects. We have successfully completed redevelopments of Wesley Hospital, the St Andrew’s Hospital and the Prince Charles Hospital, in Brisbane. The team is also responsible for the design and documentation of the $1.55 billion Gold Coast University Hospital in Southport, Queensland, in association with Hassell Architects. The GCUH Partnership office in Brisbane (pictured) is an architectural consortium of PDT, STH and Hassell. This hospital is a 750 bed tertiary acute world class facility due for completion in December 2012.
